A Toddler Reward Chart and other Shenanigans

I wanted to share this reward chart that we have been using (with great success) for potty training the little one. First, I found a free printable on Pinterest from Arian Armstrong (she has both a superboy & supergirl version).  Next, I simply printed it out at home, glued it to some colorful paper and then eventually had one laminated at my local print shop so that we can re-use it once it's been filled up with stickers. Little Miss gets a sticker every time she either sits on or uses the potty. It's really made a difference.

Here's the first version...

Here's the new laminated version...

Here it is up on the wall where she can actually reach it and put her stickers up...

Other Toddler Shenanigans...

It's was back to school yesterday (Hooray! but sad at the same time) but here's what the little one got up to in the 3 free hours before school started...

Water painting...

 Big Dot Marker fun....

Makeover time.... (poor "Sheepsies")

Until next time :)

My Mommy Wardrobe

When I came across this page in the April 2012 issue of Red magazine, the conversation in my head went something like this:

- "Hey! that's what I wear nearly every day (i.e "The Outfit")."
- "I'm so glad to see that I can spruce up and accessorize my usual every day outfit."
- "Wait, is this a cool fashion tip or kinda sad?"
- (sigh)

Gone are the days of power suits and high healed shoes from my former corporate life. I've traded that wardrobe in for a selection of stripe shirts (more than I care to admit), skinny jeans and comfy flats.

Oh well, you can't chase after a little one through muddy puddles wearing 4" heels and I suppose I'd rather be running through muddy puddles more than anything else right now :)
