Thanks! I have done tons of cross stitch, but the last thing I embroidered was something in home ec class (I think). I need to figure out what I need....like what do I use to transfer the pattern to my fabric?
I normally just trace my pattern onto my fabric using a water soluable pen. Some patterns come with iron on transfers that you can re-use or I know that some folks use just regular pencil. Wild Olive has a post on transferring patterns that you might find useful too: http://wildolive.blogspot.co.uk/2011/03/embroidery-basics-transferring-pattern.html.
Love it! I recently rediscovered embroider and find it quite addictive. What are you going to make out of your creation?
